Change your greeting for Christmas

Don't leave it until the last minute to change your greeting on your phone sytsem to let you customers know when your opening hours

Christmas Greeting Guides

ALCATEL TELEPHONE SYSTEM 

The main company greeting is on the main switch phone, usually extension 200

  • From the main phone
  • Scroll left into the MENU screen
  • Select Operator
  • Enter the OP password ( HELP1954)
  • Select Expert
  • Scroll down once and select Voicemail (not voice)
  • Scroll down once again and select General mailbox
  • Press record
  • Press record again and begin speaking
  • Press Stop when you are finished

  • Press OK to confirm and save

TOSHIBA TELEPHONE SYSTEM

The main company greeting is on the main switch phone, usually extension 200

Press the Access Voicemail button

  • Enter the security code followed by #
  • Listen to your menu options ( If you have any new messages you will be forced to listen to these first before you get your menu options)
  • Select option 3 to manage your mailbox
  • Select option 1 to change your greeting
  • Select greeting 1 (greetings 1 through 7) always select greeting 1
  • Select either 1 to review or listen to the greeting that is already there
  • Or select 2 to re-record the greeting
  • When your finished recording press #

  • Press 9 to save.
