Toshiba’s Unified Comm’s Division for UK and Ireland confirmed in January 2016 that from 1 June 2016, all products within their Unified Communications Range will be moving into Technical Support.
Toshiba will therefore cease selling and developing products in the UC range. They have committed that they will continue to provide support, spares and licensing for Toshiba CIX and IPEdge up to September 2017. From that date they will continue to offer spares support for up to a further 2 years.
ATS will continue to provide support and spares from that date.
How will this affect my service and support from ATS?
The service and support you receive from ATS will remain the same. We will continue to offer new and refurbished Toshiba products to existing customers for the foreseeable future. We commit to notify all customers well in advance should we see this situation changing.
What do I need to do?
There is no immediate need to do anything. We would recommend that you consider your comm’s requirements beyond 2017 and we would be happy to provide options and recommendations.
What are my options?
We have worked closely with our principal Unified Communications partner Alcatel-Lucent to develop a cost effective alternative that will offered only as a Toshiba migration option. That is, this special offer will only be open to customers with current Toshiba telephone systems.
