WYG works for many of the leading private and public sector organisations throughout Ireland.

REQUIREMENT
WYG Dublin were looking for a full VOIP solution which would cater for up to 200 employees with the ability to grow beyond this limit seamlessly.

SOLUTION
The Alcatel Lucent solution designed by ATS group for WYG Ireland catered for both their voice and data network. The voice system installed by ATS is an Alcatel-lucent Omni PCX office which is a full IP system that caters for:
• ISDN/SIP trunks,
• IP trunking between multi sites throughout the world using Data links tool free calls between sites at no charge
• Call center environment which gives WYG the ability to give their clients an excellent and professional call handling experience while adding value within the organization for reporting and statistics on all call center calls.

The Alcatel Lucent Omni PCX Office solution allows WYG Dublin to create smaller satellite offices off the Dublin Nutgrove office due to these offices having dedicated inter-office IP connectivity.

As this was a green field site they also cut down on their cabling costs with VOIP handsets . This meant that only 1 CAT5/6 cable was needed per desk for both their telephone and PC. This consisted of 2 core layer 3 core switches with full redundancy along with 9 stackable layer 2 power over Ethernet edge switches which catered for both their IP telephony network and data network.
